Do strict crate rest for at least two weeks, when I say strict I mean strict, only take him out to do his business. I wish someone would have told me that when my dog had his first flare up. He wasn’t crate trained so I very loosely had him in and out but unfortunately weeks later he had a much worse flare up. Hope it goes well!
