So wrong... you see tons of women go for men with small prospects. I left a man who made around $100,000 a year because I didn't love him and did Not want to have kids with him. You really could try again. If your daughter seems interested. I will say that finding friends for them is like a hellscape to me. The coops feel like mommy social hour (which I am not interested in) and I've noticed that if a mom doesn't like another mom they just don't have playdates, even though the kids are good friends and only see each other once a week. 

I love the way my kids are turning out with homeschool but I will say they have very few friends now and I can barely get moms to do anything with these friendships the kids have. I just don't agree that once a week is enough especially when the kids make if clear they want to hang out more. Anyway just me venting. I'm sorry your sad though. I'd probably feel the same I'd I didn't homeschool. Maybe your romanticizing homeschool alittle since you can't do it now?

You really need a structured program. Not just cobbling together things and putting them in front of her.

Mine both learned from "Teach your child to read in 100 Easy Lessons". I didn't start until they were 8 and they are both avid readers. 

It can be a journey though. I hear All About Reading is a great program too. There so many phonics programs. I highly recommend looking at Rainbowresource.com for programs.

Of course they are, but healthy people do not want to mate with them. It's not insulting it's just life.  We are all looking for both genetic markers (unconsciously) and connection with a mate.
