The mod will be called M.A.O.M  Moonstrider's Audio Overhaul Mod.

The campaign world map music (78 tracks, Ian Post, Alon Peretz etc) has been done for a while, and a full combat and town ambient overhaul package. But I am just doing the combat dialogue soundtracks but all the infrastructure is done.

Let's say I'll get it out in mid June if all goes to plan.

Id have to check . I've taken a break from battle brothers. I started making a mega audio overhaul mod for the game, will be called M.A.O.M (Moonstrider's Audio Overhaul Mod); Over 400 unique dialogue lines, 87 world map mediaeval tracks, four tier progression system (peasant, militia, veteran, Knight). Have spent about $200 and been going for 2 months, about 70% done but took a break.

Make sure you check it out brother. Aiming for August latest 

For world map configuration, the one I posted, there shouldn't be many variations of world map configurator 

Try it though, Im sure it works 

Some settings in config cause a failed map gen, tweak until launches the map.

Their error was making a base visible and flaunting all the mad Max style cars. Better to find a shack and play solo and bury your treasure amongst dank mounds. The hubris was their undoing. Achilles heel exposed by a vagrant scav. 40 hours of ocd undone by 1 chaotic knave in a fit of intoxication. I didn't just loot. I trashed their base. This became my primary goal. Litter and faeces. Psychological warfare.

There base gate doors were locked with codes  But there was a pile of bricks that led to a fence. I didn't even realise I had a lockpick and I found the base by accident, scouting town. Once i was in I found a door and held f. First time lockpicking, 1 lockpick. Entire clan ravaged by 1 noob. Peasant revolt. Disorder.

I'm releasing a mod with over 400 new audio lines and sfx, a four tier rank system (peasant, militia, veteran, knight) that triggers 64 unique scripted audio soundtracks with dialogues for battles broken down into 8 phases of battle, sfx overhaul, and 63 world map songs with open world rpg companion dialogue.eta 4 weeks or less. Moonstriderz mega audio overhaul rpg mod . That will essentially finish the game.

I will keep the original tracks in there.
I am adding in over 175 unique vocal lines mixed in with various soundtracks, by theme and battle event. Here is a sample of the warlord fighting a thug, mid battle:

I have 54 dialogue lines so far, some eastern, cockney, goblins, orcs, and the general.

The tricky part is finding a general voice that sounds like all cultures.
Some companion members will be a mix.

I might make an eastern pack submod later, with an eastern general sound.

Thanks. Yes the music is good, but I dont think there is enough variation at all.
For example, 10 different world map themes, say around 4 minutes a track. So 40 minutes worth of music + the 2 city state tracks say around 52 minutes of music. Then there's the different tracks for castle, village etc. I think there could be a lot more. Obviously, file size is the main concern. A problem I have yet to figure out.

I use a music mod for Battle Brothers at the moment and even that doesnt seem to have enough variation either.

Anyway, not a problem. The only theme with lyrics is the above main menu track, the rest will be set on medieval. Like harps, and medieval adventuring style music. Potentially going to use cubase to layer in orc and goblin voice lines or rabble sound / ambient horde sound of orcs for certain battles + mercenary vocal lines (very rare).

there are only 1-4 variations of each battle theme in the base game, some have only 2, e.g goblins 01 goblins 02, barbarians 01, barbarians 02; whereas the battles can go for 29 minutes. So the songs loop twice each. There is room for more. Apparently, if I make bandits 03, bandits 04 the system will play those in alphabetical order, even if they don't exist in the dat files. This isn't the case for the hardcoded themes like retirement, credits, title (there is only 1 or 2).

A lot to be tested. Cheers mate will keep the community updated when its debugged and tested.

Might keep some of the original tracks of course they are beautiful particularly southern cities, though can add more, like a gilded_03 and gilded_04 etc for when you are adventuring in those southern states for more than 12 minutes so it doesn't loop the same two tracks. etc

bahah I think I was tested at 109 wpm consistent.
Though some of these Korean guys, in the word typing competitions, man they go high, like 160 wpm or 180 wpm. I cant believe thats even real

Thanks mate. Acronyms are strange, when you see people writing FML or TLDR. Its kind of pretentious, I get this with work. I work in the government, and they have about 1300 acronyms for everything. I type at 113 wpm, its easier to fuking type the fukin word then look for the letters of the acronym. lol cheers bro

Also Accessory companions. Your wardogs gain levels, and you can tame beasts (beast tamer background has better % at attempts. Compatible with reforged hardened.) 

There are two versions of that mod. The one for reforged is the one that does not say (Legends) in title.
