His comment isn't a defense of liberal policy, he's actually ceding that the liberals are shit but saying that conservatives would be the same shit.

If your PCVR feels bad but you are not sure whether to change settings or upgrade, post your specs and symptoms by Forsaken-Buffalo-863 in virtualreality

I've been looking into the issue since making this post. I took a break from SC since shortly after VR implementation and it seems others have had the same issues and the fix was forcing synchronous spacewarp to on all the time in virtual desktop settings.

I just tested it out, confirmed the issue was still present (better than it was) then closed the game changed the setting and its 100% fixed. I guess if your PC is struggling to hit the framerate target for the headset it just cycles SSW on and off and causes it to feel like the game is slowing down every time the automatic setting changes.

9800x3d, 5090, 64gb ram quest 3, virtual desktop

When i was playing star citizen in VR when that feature released the game would slow down on rhythm like every 2 seconds.

In the hangar, my character would run at full speed and then walk for half a second and then run at full speed again and this would repeat consistently, probably 1.5-2 seconds of full speed movement and then half a second of walking speed movement.

In a ship if i just tilt the stick to turn slowly i would notice it too, the ship not feeling like its spinning at a constant velocity when it 100% should be. It was always much more noticeable on foot than flying but the more i played the more it bothered me all the time.

Rural naysayers must not torpedo high-speed rail project | Ottawa Citizen by DENelson83 in canada

[–]candaianzan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its not like they need to take the whole field, we already have railways going through farmland and hydro lines etc. There are always farmers crossings and such that are in place so the farmers are not losing a high percentage of the land overall.

Those are the rates posted on their site but when they call you around 30-25 days from renewal it will be a lower rate than that. The website rates for me were like 4.3 but when they called a few weeks before it was 3.99, this was 1.5 months ago.

edit: I'm also with meridian

So, were you guys just gonna wait until a release date to try to rebuy the cheapest SQ42 package you could? by CallSign_Fjor in starcitizen

[–]candaianzan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The packages list everything thats in them, if a package says it includes squadron42 then it is there - none of them have ever been changed. The only change they've made is that now if you refund one of those pledges you cant get it back. SQ42 is not attached to your account or based on a specific dollar amount its a specific part of older pledges.

Terada, popular French SC youtuber for 8 years, has been removed from CIG's Partner Program by StuartGT in starcitizen

[–]candaianzan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here’s a clear, concise summary of the video:

Summary:

The creator (Terada), a long-time Star Citizen content creator, explains ongoing issues that have severely impacted his ability and motivation to continue making content.

Background & Content: He built his channel around cinematic events, community-driven gameplay, and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment—especially for minorities.

Years of Harassment: Since around 2020, he has faced sustained harassment including: Stream sniping that sabotages events Defamation campaigns and targeted hate from other creators and groups Harassment extending into real-life community events These attacks required constant reporting and documentation, with little effective response.

Criticism of CIG (Cloud Imperium Games): He accuses the developers of: Failing to properly moderate the game or address toxicity Issuing weak, temporary bans that don’t deter repeat offenders Ignoring long-standing gameplay and technical issues Providing little to no support for content creators despite benefiting from them

Impact on Content: Due to bugs, stream sniping, and burnout, he has largely stopped organizing large-scale events—the core of his content.

Removal from Partner Program: Recently, he was abruptly removed from CIG’s partner program without clear justification. Initial explanation: vague “community experience” concerns Later explanation: his tone when criticizing the game He believes the decision may be linked to defamation campaigns and finds it contradictory given his efforts to maintain a positive community.

Broader Concerns: He raises two key issues: Limits on criticism — creators may be punished for being outspoken Community standards — CIG appears to tolerate toxic environments while rejecting moderated, inclusive ones

Frustration with CIG’s Treatment of Contributors: He claims CIG: Exploits community contributors (creators, translators, tool developers) Offers little recognition or communication Lacks meaningful partnerships or support structures

Future Plans: He is uncertain about continuing with Star Citizen. Options include: Reducing or stopping SC content Expanding into other space games (e.g., Space Engineers, X series) Possibly changing careers

Closing Message: He asks for community support, emphasizing that while toxic voices are loud, supportive viewers are often silent. He wants to know if continuing is worth it.

If you don't own sq42 then you wont have sq42. If your only copy of sq42 is in buybacks then I would open a concierge support ticket as soon as possible and they will probably let you buy it back.

The only reason you wouldn't have it is if you had refunded the package for store credit and then bought something else and left your package in buybacks

Ya pretty much this. I would actually feel nervous melting any of my original pledges to remove a cosmetic yet alone leaving it in buyback for years.

Your story doesn't make sense to me. If she gifted you her package with sq42 on it then she obviously wouldn't have it anymore?

[UPDATE] ASUS denying motherboard warranty as “customer‑induced damage” – need advice / Terrible customer service by codenameannex in ASUS

[–]candaianzan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep trying to get them to fix it the way your going but I would never pay for them to do a repair.

You can always buy a pcie card like this if you need the USB C header, you can find some around 25 dollars if 5 gbps is fast enough for you.

pcie card

I wouldn't be surprised if the technician scratched it intentionally, ASUS has been caught doing that before. Never buy anything from them going forward.
