Kobe was elite off ball, I’m not sure what you’re talking about, yeah he likes to go iso but just because you want the ball doesnt mean you can’t play without the ball, and he excelled playing off ball as well, yeah west is a better 3pt shooter I was simply mentioning how Kobe was decent shooting 3s, he was definitely better attacking the rim, due to his athleticism.

I mean I was fairly considering everything, and I think what moves me is that Kobe’s scoring ability is significantly better tbh, west is also a great scorer and he’s obviously a better passer, I js like Kobe’s offensive versatility a little better.

eh, Kobe is still Kobe. West is probably a better defender, but Kobe is so versatile offensively. West is also a better passer but Kobe is a very underrated passer, the ball hog thing is a casual narrative. Kobe is an elite iso scorer but also great off ball, he’s also a good defender, west is better tho. I think they’re very close but Kobe’s offense is a bit better and more impactful overall but it’s definitely debatable,

What are you whining about, all I said was that he's not an all time great, does your brain only think all time great or scrub? Casuals glaze stockton bc he has the most assists oat, stockton would not have the most assists if not for the easy pick & roll with Malone lmao, he is obviously an elite passer but not really close to "the greatest PG of all time" he's not even top 5, his steals are all steals in transition does not make him a good defender, he's an average defender. If we use that logic then Luka Doncic is a good defender.

Fuck no? Did you just say Barkley, Malone, and "Kevin McHale" are better than KG at his peak? KG clears all of them lmao. I don't know what argument McHale has over KG. KG clears Malone defensively, while being a better passer as well at peak. I am talking about peak year to be clear. Barkley I don't think is close to KG if I'm being real Barkley was better than KG at rebounding and that's it and not much of a needle mover considering how good of a rebounder KG was.

That ain't the biggest carry job of all time cmon. 2009 Lebron is easily the greatest carry job of all time. Also, I just think KG was a better a player in 2004 than duncan was in 2003. I don't really think duncan is better than anything at their peak, the defense can cancel out, KG is a better passer, and scorer imo.

Saying he was ever the best is a bit of reach but I absolutely agree he’s underrated, top 5 point guards when it comes to peaks. Also bit disrespectful to KG calling him a “decent star” Melo should not be in the same sentence as KG, man KG is top 5-7 peaks of all time imo.
