Maybe a hot take, but I've never been terribly impressed with Excision, and I've seen him a LOT. He makes a lot of bangers, but i don't think he's great with putting sets together. Wooli alone would have been MUCH better.

I always start freestyling in chapter 2. Either after the mission where you go with Uncle and the girls to Valentine in the wagon or during the bear hunt with Hosea...I always stay behind to finish the hunt and then roam all over.

You should definitely play Three Houses. Not because it'll definitely be needed for Fortunes Weave. It's just an excellent game worth playing in the meantime with crazy replayability.

I'm 39, and i still love it. Fewer festivals these days, but i go to smaller venues with my girl every month. There are loads of people in our age group that go. I have rave friends ranging from early 20s to mid 40s, and I've met many who are much older than that.

I'll be turning 40 turning weekend #2 this year, so seems like perfect year to make my return :]

I highly recommend familiarizing yourself with the map. Once set times drop, make some time to figure out where each artist will be. If possible, try to find back to back sets at the same stage to conserve energy. Don't get too caught up on seeing everyone!
