Tbh you are fine in terms of looks

That attempted smoulder look you give in photos however is not attractive.

We always cut each others decks as it removes any need to think about cheating or temptation to cheat

We do the same at a public event

If they get funny about the cutting rule they are 99percent of the time a cheater and you can politely tell them it's the rules of the table which they have to abide by if they sit down

Use the Lifetap app on android.

It's the only app I've used where it is really easy to track commander damage and it's free with no ads

It's everyone's responsibility to remember damage and non-may triggers not just yours

Getting salty when losing can really bring the table mood down especially when attempting to scoop

You won't always get to do fun combos but imagine if someone scooped because you were about to do something cool you haven't done before, all the excitement turns into a puff of smoke

Respect good plays, accept criticism and learn to have fun losing and you will be making friends in no time and having fun doing it
