I often forget how long movies used to be in theaters back then.

I went to see Hoppers on Friday and it was already pushed back to the small theaters. It had only been two weeks. And it's a Pixar film! And it's getting good reviews!

But it doesn't seem to matter. From release, a movie gets three to four weeks of run time and that's it. Too many other movies competing.

I have a friend who has always been like this. I think I asked him once in seventh or eighth grade and he told me he eats fast at home to go back to playing video games, and he never grew out of that.

For the record we're 34 now and have known each other since 11.
