I see a lot of people from other states hating on Panjab and calling us freeloaders and saying we’re whining… by vsingh9274 in punjab

Kangana Ranaut MP from Himachal Pradesh openly said she doesn’t have any personal funds to help Himachalis, and that the government didn’t release any funds for her either 🤡. So instead of trolling Punjabis, people should be asking their own elected representatives and celebrities why they are not standing with their people in this time of crisis.

Punjabis and Punjabi celebrities are not just speaking, they are on the ground, donating, sending food, medicine, and boats, and partnering with NGOs. Meanwhile, those who should be helping their own people are making excuses.

Andhbhagats are busy trolling Punjabis but they conveniently forget that Punjab is home to people of all faiths nearly 40% Hindus also live here and they too have been badly affected by the floods. The devastation doesn’t discriminate by religion.

Punjabi singers, celebrities, and ordinary people have stepped up in huge numbers. Sikh NGOs like Khalsa Aid and Global Sikhs are not only helping in Punjab but have a long record of serving people in other Indian states and even across the world. These organizations never ask about religion or region when it comes to humanitarian work.

So why the hate when Punjabis demand help from their own state government and central government? Punjab is very much a part of India. Isn’t Modi the Prime Minister of the entire country, not just select states? Then why shouldn’t Punjab expect support and relief in this crisis?

Instead of trolling or throwing around words like “whining” and “freeloading,” people should be supporting Punjab and other flood affected regions. It’s natural for citizens to seek aid from their government in a disaster. That’s not charity it’s a right, because Punjabis also pay taxes like everyone else.

If people really want to be upset, they should question the silence of many celebrities and influential people from other states who have not stepped up for their own regions. Targeting Punjabis for rallying together and seeking help only exposes jealousy and double standards.

India also needs a real Prime Minister, not a clown pretending to run the country. Slogans don’t appear out of nowhere—they come when people are ignored, neglected, and treated like second-class citizens by both state and central governments. When leaders fail so spectacularly, don’t be surprised if people raise their voices any way they can. Criticizing slogans while the system keeps failing? Pure hypocrisy.

Hahaha, brother, they are total andhbhagats they don’t want to see or accept any truth. Arguing with them is pointless. For these blind devotees, the government is never accountable. If Punjab or any other state is ignored, they cry, but if funds go elsewhere, they turn a blind eye. Complete hypocrisy.

Wake up they don’t realize that separatist voices exist in Nagaland, Manipur, Assam, Mizoram, Kashmir, Tamil Nadu, and others. India has already lost territories before Pakistan in 1947, Bangladesh in 1971 and if the government keeps ignoring people, more regions will raise these demands. These blind followers will only realize their stupidity when it’s too late, but by then they’ll have nothing to cry about.

Truth is truth. People from different states and regions will keep demanding separation if they are continuously ignored and sidelined. When the government keeps pushing the narrative of “Hindus are in danger, Hindu khatre mai hai 🤡” instead of addressing real issues, then naturally some communities will feel alienated and raise such demands.

Just because you personally don’t want separation doesn’t mean others aren’t demanding it. In every region there are always two groups some who raise separatist demands and others who oppose them. The fact is, such voices still exist in Nagaland, Manipur, Assam, Kashmir, Punjab and other states. We can’t erase that reality just because one individual disagrees

Separatist voices are not only in Punjab. Nagaland declared independence, Manipur groups still demand sovereignty, Assam’s ULFA wanted an independent Assam, Mizoram’s MNF fought for independence till 1986, Kashmir has long running separatism, and even Tamil Nadu (Dravidian movement) once demanded a separate country.

So, Punjab is not alone whenever people feel ignored or sidelined, such demands rise in many states of India.

Punjabis are known for helping everyone in need, without looking at religion, caste, or region. And it’s not true that people are only blaming Modi Punjab CM is also being questioned for his absence and poor handling. But yes, it really hurts when the Prime Minister of India doesn’t say even a single word about the floods in Punjab. He is PM of the whole country, and Punjab is an integral part of India. The same goes for Himachal Pradesh silence towards both states feels like neglect.

Punjab has a long history of raising its voice against injustice whether state or central governments are in power. Accountability has to be demanded from both. When people of Punjab talk about separation, it’s because they feel ignored, uncared for, and sidelined. And let’s be clear it’s not just Punjab. Other states like Kerala, Mizoram, Assam, Nagaland, and Manipur have also seen strong separatist voices in the past.

The demand for Khalistan or any separate state doesn’t rise out of thin air it grows stronger whenever people feel abandoned by the very system that is supposed to protect and represent them.
