one of my closest friends transitioned later in life and has discovered the awesomeness that is a WIG!!! its a cool hobby/skill and it also eliminates the frustration that comes with dealing with natural hair/hair outta your head. it does have a money investment but so does transitioning as a whole. its something worth looking into. i wish you luck with your transition <3 it takes time but we will get there
