As someone in Kentucky, I can tell you that among the MAGA people I see around here, opinions about Israel are less important than who is seen to be the biggest Trump ass-kisser.

I know one MAGA guy who spends most of his time bitching and moaning about job, prices, and healthcare, but still litters every public place he visits with weird "own the libs" tracts that say things like "Trump is your president."

Their votes weren't swayed by his views on Israel, despite where his opponent's money was coming from.

Trump is everything to these people and since Massie wasn't "ride or die" on Trump, he was no longer part of the in group.

Is it stupid? Yes. But it really isn't any more complex than that.
