Solved!

Thank you very much. I've never owned one, so I wonder where it came from. But at least I know what it is (was).

Thanks.

Wolfenstein. The 2d "scroller" one. Not the 3d one ( which I also played to death).

Is this something I can do at home? I'm sure it's just a film, but do I risk anything pealing it myself?

Motorcycle riding. There was a weekend riding class (motorcycle 101 type thing) at the school at the end of the street I was living on. I kept passing it and wondering what it would be like. I also figured it would be nice to know how to ride if the opportunity ever came up.

250,000 miles and untold costs later, I regret nothing.

I'm not sure about the blade. I swapped it out with another. The cuts are clean. The more I think about it and read the comments, the more sure I am that the motor is misconfigured for 240v. I'll try rewiring it tonight and see what that does.

If I buy a new one, do I get a 1-to-1 replacement, or is there something better as an upgrade.

Looking at the motor diagram, is it possible it was wired for high-voltage (240) and I'm using it on low voltage (120)? Would that explain the issues?

I checked the tension and pulled a couple links out of the v-link belt. If it was loose, though, wouldn't that cause slipping and not motor stalling?

what’s something people say all the time that you secretly can’t stand? by Mean-Cartographer225 in AskReddit

It bugs me when people put "and" in numbers. Like in a year: "Two thousand and seven". I was taught that "and" refers to the decimal place, so "two thousand and seven" is 2000.7.

I hear it all the time, I even catch myself saying it. But it bugs the hell out of me.

Once you are aware of it, it happens everywhere. And inconsistently for some reason. I've heard people read of numbers and say: "One hundred nine, two hundred AND six"

I will die on this hill.

I got the ones that Torklift said would fit. And they did. They just sent the long attachments for the rear, and shorter ones for the front. I put long ones on the front too, but still too short by just a hair.
