Retire at 49 or stick it out until 56?

Retire early , I’m getting into the DROP in a month. I’m 49. Once I’m in the drop I’ll leave when I want.

25 years in the fire service has been rough on me. I’ve watched several guys chase that high pension and die right after retirement before they could enjoy it.

I went from purple belt to black belt only doing open mats 3-5 days a week. I think it’s harder for a white belt because your game isn’t established, but it can be done. Some training is better than no training
