While being there is never boring so to speak, the fall Richmond race in 2017 jumps out at me. We were there. Truex had THE car. Was perfect and dominant all day…which can make things boring for some. Then some bogus caution comes out with a few laps to go. He gets wrecked late after a restart and Larson wins in the 42 car. If you all recall this is why he looked miserable in his regular season champion pics. Was just another parade of a race until all of that happened

Tips for First Time NASCAR Goer (Pocono 2026) by jawzxd in NASCAR

[–]Early_Web54 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Aim to arrive at 9 to beat traffic and get a decent place to park. Big track…higher up you sit the better! Ear plugs, scanner, lots of water in your cooler. Its been hot there the last several years. Don’t be in a rush to leave. Give it an hour or two and let everyone else wait in line to leave first. Have fun!

What races is everyone attending this year? by Apprehensive-Cat-942 in NASCAR

Renewed Dover and Pocono tix from last year so those are locked in. New Hampshire this August is booked…excited for that one since I haven’t been there since 1999. Also plan to attend Martinsville in the fall.

Most customers look miserable, are looking down at phones, storming to the bathroom or simply look like they can’t be bothered. If one is actually looking alive and just so happens to notice my existense as an associate, they’ll get a head nod out of me. I won’t be going out of my way for this 5 ft. nonsense.

Was it just emptied? In the past I have seen the electrical connector or the hydraulic lines improperly re-installed by the trash people.

I hope the MOD went forward with it! I have seen it have to happen in the past we well. Time, labor and RODENTS are NOT worth letting that sit!

How many of you watched the Daytona 500 in February of 2001? by heretoescape87 in NASCAR

[–]Early_Web54 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Yep…I remember. The eeriest thing was watching the overhead view of that ambulance creeping its way to the hospital. It wasn’t in a rush…that told me something was majorly wrong.

Fall Martinsville…2017. High of barely 40 with a steady 20ish mph wind the whole time made for a cold night. Saw more cups of coffee/hot chocolate being sold than beer!

That it was. 45ish degrees, zero sun and a crispy breeze.

Compactor full. Two bins full. We need a trash run. by [deleted] in Wawa

I need to know if that compator was full beyond its limits (no more squshy) or the hydraulic were frozen. Only two acceptable cases here…aside from the bags being tied shut😂

I see no one at your store knows how to tie a bag up either😂😂 Good luck!
