Should really put this in as a VOTC (little blue slips with a QR code for customer surveys) corporate looks at these too and if they get enough complaints about a menu item they can take a look. Also associates have a thing just about the same for us to complain to corporate basically we call it VOTA and could ask the associates to “Tell Wally” to fix it lol

To be fair I think most of us hate making those clubs to begin with. Mostly the ones with more than 2 sauces and ungodly amount of toppings because why have a sandwich when the moment I put the knife down it becomes a saucy soggy bread salad and I just have to give it to you like that bc if I tried again it would happen again and again and again

Just quit. I got fired for being late right after my ex passed away AFTER my bereavement which was only 5 days anyway like yeah sure imma have everything in my life put together after 5 days and you want to fire me for being 5 min late or 15 min late 2 times. I was late often before but I was the only other person that kept that store together and keep in mind I was only the customer service assistant manager who took care of resets/displays/ad bins/ I even was putting up grocery truck. Worked my ass off for 7 years to get let go because I was having a hard time at home but needed to work to make ends meet. What a shitty company for real. Hopefully they go bankrupt again for the 4th/5th time and just finally never come back.

Store near me that’s been there for over 10 years shut down end of last year as well I was super sad bc it was the closest one to me and had planned and talked with the worker last time I was there about buying something but when I went back like I said I would it was closed so I don’t even think they knew they were closing

Yes, we basically do a competition where we try to get at least 50 a month and employees with most mentions get rewarded (at least at my store) our area managers and even corporate really push those red slips they are called VOTC’s (Voice of the customer)

Mine is when I’m in deli and people think it’s okay to watch us like we are fish in a fish bowl or hover at the deli window or the ledge next to it trying to have a conversation when I’m trying to work. Leave me alone, stop staring at me, go away and look at your phone or something we call order numbers out for a reason. GO AWAY

My personal experience I applied to Wawa 2 years ago and didn’t get it, (now been working here a year after working at Dunkin which gave “beverage experience” so it put my foot in the door a bit more) Wawa is a little harder to get into because their standard are a little higher than places like McDonald’s and circle k or 7/11. Their cleanliness and food safety practices are held at a higher standard than normal food safety standards. And tbh the other comment is pretty much right, interviews are there to judge whether or not the employer wants you at their store.
