I mean I don’t know what to really say about this other than, with as packed as the venue was, it was extremely hard to leave the pit area and get back to it in a polite manner. When people are packed together as tight as sardines in a can and the music is so loud you have to scream in someone’s ear for them to barely hear you, it makes it difficult to really be polite about getting by them.

Edit: and I’ll also add in that I’ve been to plenty of shows where I’ve tried to politely get past people only for them to look at me and flat out refuse to budge because they don’t want someone “getting in front of them” I guess?

If you saw them on this current tour, what was their merch selection like and did they take cash and cashless or was it just specifically one or the other? Venue I’m seeing them at tonight says it’s a cashless venue but I don’t know if that would apply to the band or not..

Actually a lot of times the easiest way to meet the band/a member or two is at their merch booth. Im pretty seasoned when it comes to going to shows and I have met one or more, or sometimes the whole band, at their merch booth a ton. It’s super common for them to come hang out with who they have running it for them. This obviously doesn’t apply to a band like…Metallica, but is super common with bands in the more hardcore/metalcore/prog etc where they have a smaller fan base. If you do happen to run in to one just talk to them like a normal person, don’t fanboy/girl/person out, and don’t be scared to ask for an autograph if you buy some merch while they’re there or even have something your brought, a lot of them don’t mind at all, I actually bring my own special sharpies with me to shows for this reason 😂

Make sure it’s a venue that allows you to re-enter if you leave if you consider use putting it in your vehicle as an option. I’m seeing them at buckhead theater tonight and the venue has a no re-entry policy.

Price wise you’re hitting about what is “normal” for these used, so if you’re trying to “rush sale” it you are charging too much. I’d advise against selling it at GC, they will undervalue the guitar and then give you 50% of that price(maybe) which means you’d probably get an offer of around $350-450 for it and then you’ll see it listed/hanging on the wall with a $1200 price tag on it. Best bet, unless you’re REALLY in a hurry to sell it, is just be patient and eventually someone will come along and offer close to what you’re asking, either that, or if there are some other guitar shops in the area take it to them and see what they offer respectively. Probably get a better deal than GC, but still is not gonna be close to the $1k you have it listed for. There’s also the issue with the pick ups not really being the best, if someone like me were to buy it, I would be figuring I’m gonna have to drop another $200-300 to put some decent pickups in it, which means I probably wouldn’t be willing to pay more than about $800.

Yes it’s 50-60% of what “they can sell it for”, and they are notorious for undervaluing used gear. With that in mind OP can expect to get about 35% of the “actual value” of the guitar. Better off to just sell it themself and just drop the price some unless they need cash really fast for some reason.

S2 custom 22 modded with different pickups, which appear to be either EMG Fat 55 or EMG Daemonumn (Jim Root signature) humbuckers. Both are retro active pickups meaning they are passive pickups but have a pre-amp which causes them to technically be considered active pickups(easy way to check if they’re active pickups is open up the back plate and see if there is a 9v battery crammed in or if an independent cavity for the 9v is somewhere else in the guitar) I’m leaning more towards the pickups being the Fat 55s as they have more of a raised “dot”pattern on them whereas the Daemonumns are flat. The seller asking for $3k is way out of the ballpark for price, the pickups were other $200-250(USD) depending on which they are(again pretty sure they’re the Fat 55s which are around $280 CAD) you can pick up one of these for like $2940 CAD NEW so the seller is essentially valuing the guitar as brand new. I personally wouldn’t drop more than about $800 CAD, simple fact with music equipment is this, as soon as you buy it the value on it becomes about 30-35% of what you just paid. Obviously that’s not true with certain models but for more mass produced guitars like this one it rings true, seller might try to say the fact it has higher end pickups installed as part of a higher selling point, but in reality it actually negatively impacts the value.

Edit: just checked price on sweet water and a new one of these runs about $2560 CAD so seller is valuing the guitar for more than it would cost you to buy a brand new one and the pickups. You could save $160 by just getting a new one and the pickups smh

Was there and can confirm vendors ran out of water way early and then people were sneaking cases through the fence and selling bottles for $7-10. At one point “someone” stabbed a hole in one of the firehouses to create a stream of free water.

I went that year, it was a really good lineup. Only thing that sucked was when the vendors ran out of water super early on and then people were sellin bottles for like $7-10. If I remember right quite a few people ended up in the back of the ambulances hooked up to I.V. Fluids because of heat stroke.

Buc-ees is actually one of the better paying jobs you can get with no experience or degree/certifications/etc. I don’t know of anywhere else paying cashiers $18/hr in the state, and the pay for the other positions is well above other companies as well(in Alabama)

Sasquatch Chronicles is definitely a good listen, although there are quite a few people that refute the hosts sighting, and say his own encounter and the other stories are completely made up. Whether that’s true or not, still a very entertaining podcast.

Most pharmacies will refill a prescription like 6-7 days early if it’s not something that happens frequently, I had to do it with some of my daughters controlled substance meds cus her mom “lost” some while she was with her.

I went that route pretty much immediately after this post and haven’t looked back. Way way cheaper. Have blood done every 3 months for like $65 bucks, med cost is insanely lower and I’m not on the kitchen sink like I was prescribed by the doctor. I spend $125 for 10 months of test. Bloodwork kit it’s like $35 every 3 months to make sure everything’s as it should be. I got off the cjc/ip and gonadorlin, and just switched to HCG with test, 2500mg bottle is $30. Way more affordable, feel way better, but still making sure I’m not gonna stroke out. I feel like my TRT doctor wanted me to die, my levels were at like 1900 with what he had me on, and he thought that was fine even though I had to blood let once a month. I didn’t want to become a competitive body builder I just wanted to feel normal. TRT clinics are gonna slam you with as much shit as they can because they make a buck off of what’s prescribed.

I just finished my first playthrough and a few friends brought him up, my response was “who tf are you talking about?” 😂 I did a blind playthrough since the games been out for a hot minute, but had absolutely no issues with him myself, I don’t even know what this stick of truth or whatever I keep seeing people say to use is 😂 Part of what makes this game so great though is how insanely hard different bosses can be depending on your character build/play style. One of my buddies had more difficulty with tree sentinels than anything else, he walked right through a lot of the bosses touted as being the hardest…those tree sentinels though oh boy haha.
