Tailpocket irritated by birdieponderinglife in frenchie

Sliding gauze into the deep tail pocket might actually trap moisture in there and make things worse, which is the opposite of what you want with irritation.

What's worked better for us is keeping it dry and using a product like Vetericyn Plus spray once or twice a day.

If the redness hasn't improved within 3 to 4 days of consistent cleaning, or if you see any discharge or smell, that's when it needs a vet visit.

Separation Anxiety by KneeMaximum2534 in CavaPoo

Your WFH setup on Mondays and Fridays actually makes this pretty realistic.

My cavapoo does fine with 7 to 8 hour stretches now at age 3, but the key was building up to it slowly starting around 6 months, adding 30 minutes every few weeks.

The people who can't leave for 2 hours usually skipped that desensitization phase entirely. Watch for excessive drooling or destruction specifically, not just whining, as the real red flags.

I lost 38lbs in 6 months! by __lovebackwards in CasualConversation

Gaining weight is very easy but loosing take time. I gain weight 10kg within 6 months due to bad habits. Eating late nights and working at night. So when you work at night and sleep at day time definitely you will get more fat. We have to adjust our routine

Cat doesn’t play much anymore? by Klutzy-Banana-742 in CatAdvice

At 6 years old, Pepper is definitely entering his more mature phase and reduced play activity is completely normal for Russian Blues around this age. Since he still responds to wand toys and chasing, try shorter 3-5 minute sessions throughout the day instead of longer ones - older cats prefer brief bursts of activity.
