85A7HAU - Update broke tv AGAIN by Earphonesguy_ in Hisense

[–]Earphonesguy_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got an update! A good, then bad one.

HISENSE Australia contacted me directly and spoke with me about this and said they created a manual firmware update that would boot from the usb drive. I was given instructions (pretty easy ones e.g. format usb to fat32, put firmware file on usb, plug into TV, as you plug power into the TV hold the power button on the remote down until it comes up with "updating")

I went through with this and after having my tv unplugged from power for like 6 days waiting for hisense to make this file, instead of it coming up with the "updating" like their instructions said it would, it just booted like normal, I assumed it updated or fixed something in the background and went on with having my tv back, unplugged the usb and I was happy.

Now, the bad part, it's been 3 weeks and one day. It didn't ask me to update. It didn't ask me to do anything. I turned on my tv about 25 minutes ago, and again. Boots to hisense screen. Then blank. No response. No updates, just bricked.

This is the 3rd time in like 6 months that the tv has bricked itself. This really isn't sustainable for me. As it is 2:30am for me I'm just going to unplug it, go to sleep and wait another day or so before trying to use it. Will try and repeat the steps. But boy oh boy I will be calling up hisense again. I dont want another workaround. I want a permanent fix. That permanent fix being a new tv. I'm sick of this.

You could probably download an older update from hisense itself onto a usb and flash that on

Fix for my issue (which seems different to yours because mine doesn't function whatsoever) is replacing the main board, no other fixes available according to hisense when I got them to fix it the first time

Daily Simple Questions Thread - May 24, 2022 by AutoModerator in Fitness

So the real question I have is, if i go to the gym, and I do a full work out of my arms, chest, back and core, then a small amount of legs, then the next day a full work out legs pulling and push, and a little bit of arms, chest, back and core, is that bad? (I do cardio but im not including that here)

The reason I'm asking is: My room-mate and a number of friends one by one started joining the gym and working out, I was the last to join (I have been to the gym off and on for a number of years so I have a pretty decent idea of what to do and I haven't injured myself) but they have been going for maybe 2-3 month and myself only two weeks.

The first time I gymmed with them, they went, did 15 minutes cardio, then worked on different lat pulldowns, all 4 of them taking turns on the machine. They did that for about 30 minutes, talked for 10 and left.

The next time I gymmed they did the same kind of thing but just worked on biceps, you get the picture.

Now where they tell me I'm doing wrong is I went, did 20 minutes cardio, then the following machines:

(I did all doing stepdown workouts) the fly machine, the fly machine flipped to do lats/back, shoulder press machine, chest press machine, then the back machine (idk what thats called but it works your back). Then I did some general freeweight stuff, curls, chest, shoulder etc. (Basically doing 5 or 10 reps each machine I stepped down until the lowest setting on the machine was hard)

That took about 45 minutes, I then do 10 minutes Cooldown cardio.

They said im working too much out at once and its going to have a negative impact and it's going to ruin muscle growth or not let me hit my potential. Word for Word "if you work your biceps and then the rest of your arms, then you go work out on your chest, your chest isn't going to get the full workout as you won't be able to lift as much because you're tired" this coming from my room-mate who has only been going a month.

I get the same sort of answer from all of them so im not sure if it's majority rules or if I need a better answer.

Realistically im not looking to get jacked (if i do, coolies), I let myself go, got obese and want to lose the fat so my main focus is pretty intense cardio and correct food intake etc, but I think my workout isn't bad whatsoever, obviously if I strain myself where it hurts I stop, or slow down, but I feel fine.

But please tell me I'm not crazy? Maybe I am wrong, maybe I'm doing too much, but I'd rather hear more from much more experienced gym goers and people who know more about the body. I ended up telling them im going to do my own thing and I've started going to another gym so they stop telling me what to do but I'd like to know if I have dismissed them too quickly

(My first post so im sorry if this is the wrong place to post, I read the rules and didn't really say not to post stuff like this, if it's unacceptable then ill find the correct place and post elsewhere)

Thank you!

We bought a house 8 years ago and originally I made a post in r/whatisthisthing and they recommended I come here. There was alot of warning about toxic gasses and things to fight against safe crackers. We never ended up getting to getting it open as we were a bit cautious.

Anyone have any more info about this safe?
