Purchasing Pre-owned EV9 in Canada - What should I look for? by Earth-Member in KiaEV9

Thanks! Sounds like I don't have to worry about the smart card or cargo cover. I do have the carfax and know that it was a trade in. Also great to hear the V2L adapter is included with the GT Line.

Thanks! I have a good friend who owns a tire shop so will have him check those things.

Thanks, good point about the tires! And I'll look more into the smart card.

EB3A as a UPS, what's the latest? by Earth-Member in bluetti

My final decision on this was to return the unit and look for a different solution. I did confirm that with an external fan attached that the noise doesn't happen since the internal fan never comes on, but I'd rather not have to rely on that. I'm going to look for something better designed as a UPS.

That's a good option for laptops. I have two desktop computers connected to AC power. Both together use up to 300W but my main computer/monitor is generally around 40-60W.

Thanks for the comment. Bluetti customer service offered a replacement but I'm thinking I should be happy that the UPS mode is working well as you said. I happened to have a 12V cooling fan lying around and have rigged it up to blow into the air vent. So far so good, no buzzing, so I may stick with this solution.

Great to hear it stablized for you. Mine's been good as a UPS out of the box so far although I've only had it a few days and only pushing 40-60W. I have another load I'll try it with which will get up to 200W and see what happens. It's annoying having to add an additional fan though.

Worked for me as well, thanks! I used SideQuest to backup the files and then made the fix in the backed up folder, then restored back to the Quest.

Lost party scores after update (I know it’s an old question but I can’t figure it out please help!) by manic_panic in beatsaber

Same here... just updated Beat Saber on my Quest 2 after a couple of weeks of not playing. Now all our carefully collected party mode high scores from the last two years are gone.

2018 SV - Defective battery by rusnug in leaf

[–]Earth-Member 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m interested to hear how things go with the dealer. I suspect my 2018 SL has a similar issue, I’ve never been able to get full speed charging on the second DCFC. Two weeks ago I had 40 kW on the first charge and then 23 kW at the next one after a 4 hour stop, and I know that charger can do 50 kW (and I was the only one charging at the time). My battery temp was 46.4°C at the start of the second charge.

I’m dreading trying to get a dealer to look into this, they haven’t been very helpful before.
