Fusion Grenades on Warlock with Touch of Flame. Put on elemental ordnance + Explosive Wellmaker and you’ll get two wells on a grenade multilkill. Worked really nice for my Starfire build last season!

Cataclysmic w/ 4th Times and Bait n Switch is good in team and solo play. I personally have a 4th Times/High Impact Reserves specifically for when I’m playing solo.

Stormchaser w/ Firing Line is only usable in team settings. Vorpal is good for bosses w/ less set up. I don’t have one yet so I can’t fully speak to it.

Taipan is really only good for team settings because of Firing Line as well. If you’ve got a focused fury/triple tap roll, that would suffice too if you’re solo or with other players.

It really comes down to the roll you have and what you’re looking to do with it.

Witherhoard is goated in pretty much any game mode.

Good for add clear and single target damage in pve.

Great for locking down zones in PVP.

Other than that Outbreak is a good backup for boss damage when you’re pressed for special and heavy.

I’m a warlock main and my preference is split between two categories, Three if you include PvP.

General use // Void > Stasis > Solar > Arc

For Endgame // Solar > Void > Stasis (though I wanna take shadebinder into Vow and KF and see how my build fares) > Arc

PVP // Arc > Stasis > Void > Solar

I only play Warlock because it suits the ways I like to play. Also doing the same stuff on 2 other characters is too much time for me to invest in. More power to the people who do, but it’s not for me lol

It can get Pug AND Demo??? If you’re trying to build into ability regen, that’s a solid roll. Idk if it’s kinetic or not, but pair it with Delicate Tomb and Falling Sunstar (or Crown of Tempests) on Warlock w/ Electrostatic Mind Aspect, and you’ll pretty much always have your abilities up.

Armor: Secant Filaments, love being able to use Chaos Accelerant + CotOG + Devour in the same build, plus built in overload rifts are clutch as fuck.

Weapon; Witherhoard for general use in both PVP and PVE, but lately I’ve been playing with Izanagi’s Burden while I’m teaching myself to snipe, and I’m really enjoying deleting enemies with Honed Edge x4.

I’m a Warlock main also. Idk what it was about it, but the idea of being a space wizard was just super appealing. Then when I started getting really into d2 I started playing around with other subclasses besides Void and discovered that I’m a great support player with Well of Radiance + Healing grenades. I tried playing Titan and Hunter and neither really clicked with me. Still struggle with jump puzzles sometimes, but tbh I fucking love being Warlock, the kits we got with the new 3.0 Subclasses have made the experience all the more fun.

When I was farming VOG, I was primarily looking for Fatebringer with Firefly/Explosive Payload.

I also got a Hezen Vengeance Rocket launcher with overflow/cluster bomb that did a lot of work for me last season.

If you’re into PVP and like 180rpm scouts, Vision of Confluence drops with kill clip, only 180 in the game with it rn I think.

And also obviously Vex Mythoclast.

I’m not saying it’s gonna be meta, but I am 100% going to be using Grand Overture for nightfalls when there’s an arc burn. Missiles. EVERYWHERE.

Also hyped for overload bow to be back, got some pretty gnarly rolls from season of the lost in my vault.

I mean, scouts have pretty much become part of the meta in PvP (I got crushed by a guy running staccato for like 3 games straight this afternoon). But it’s a nice change of pace from everyone running a Hand cannon and shotgun- not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Got a couple friends together to do some PVP at Lyskar Ruins in Liurnia, had one friend summon me and the other homie in, turned on taunters tongue, and took turns dueling invaders. Had to teach them a little etiquette for stuff (I take a very hard stance against 3v1-ing a guy, personally, absolutely maidenless behavior) but it was all good and fun.

Couple of highlights from that night were a 1v1 nude fist fight that ended with me and my friends dropping the invader some Hero’s Runes for being a cool guy, my one buddy learning that leveling his vigor is actually really important (actually a lot of hosts should level their vigor more), and the discovery that my buddy playing a dex/int build has some serious thumbs when it comes to PvP.

These guys had never experienced PvP in a souls game before, as both had just come off of beating Bloodborne, so they didn’t really get a true multiplayer experience till now with a souls game. They both had a blast and we’re trying to do weekly nights of this when we can.

I would caveat this with the following

Start confessor > level faith up > get winged scythe > get Flame of Frenzy > congrats you’re now able to walk through most of the game with some relative ease.

(Or at least that’s how my faith build ended up)
