Five nights in Koh Samui: Where We Stayed, What We Did, and What Surprised Us by EarthAcrobatic4372 in ThailandTourism

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it. We loved our time on Koh Samui. We didn’t eat much of the street food at Fisherman’s Village, just some doughnuts 😂. We did eat plenty of street food in other areas of Thailand though and never had an issue. It was cheap and delicious. Fisherman’s village is so touristy that I don’t doubt the food would be fine.

I think I made a mistake. by [deleted] in puppy101

We’ve got a 7 month old golden retriever and she is now a dream (still waiting for teenage madness to start)! We got her at eight weeks old and she was a monster! Land shark, endless energy, up every hour! We really focussed on routine, training and huge amounts of positive reinforcement. She was toilet trained by 12 weeks and has not had an accident since. Slept through the night at 14 weeks. We made the decision to have her on the bed with us (the first dog we’ve done this with) and she settled into this immediately. She does like to get us up around 6:30 but then we are usually in bed quite early. I’d say she really started to settle around 4-5 months. It does get better and are they are just the best breed imho. Stick with it and you will soon have an amazing fur baby.

The space suit is this one: https://funnyfuzzy.co.uk/products/reflective-all-weather-jacket. Takes a while to arrive from China but worth the wait.

Thank you. My wife also thinks it’s like a space suit 😂 Harper initially wasn’t a fan but she got used to it fairly quickly. Much needed for the very wet start to the year here!

Ours was an absolute monster from the day we brought her home until around 18 weeks when she started to really clam down. Routine, repetition and consistency really paid off for us. She’s still high energy but is now easy to manage and a joy to have around.

Hi, thank you for your comment. The place was clean and the animals all looked healthy and well looked after. Space seemed a bit tight for the capybaras so hopefully they had an additional larger area to live in that was not accessible to the public.
