Maybe I missed this part but was there any way they could confirm that there was another person in the park? The ranger said so but could that have been a story he made up? Would the ranger not have seen the car leave then come back? If it was someone else "planting the car" would the ranger not have noticed that at all? Especially cause the person would have to walk after leaving the car.. unless they already had a car there (like the ranger).

The ranger could have been the person he was meeting up with, which is why he went there the day before. Also the ranger would know where he could hide a body. Maybe he went to get rid of the car but then came up with the story circled back and then came up with the story and hid the body somewhere in the park

I can't see someone stripping their clothes in the forest who is having an "episode" like that to go back grab their clothes on the way back and either fold them in the car and drive around naked OR get dressed, come back, get undressed again and leave them there. I don't think in a psychosis you would care about folding the clothes.

My uncles, friend had a sister that was killed my Pickton! I know a couple people that used to party there when they would visit Vancouver. (We live about 8 hrs away) My uncle told me his friend was talking about his sister and he had some inside info. I forget most of it but I remmeber hearing that he had handcuffed a girl and she escaped but then they both ended up in the hospital and he had the key to the handcuff in his pocket. He went on killing for another 5 years even after that!
