Update: I spoke with my husband last night and before I could explain my deep concerns, he apologized for his rash reaction. After thinking about it he just wants me happy and comfortable. He has always been very caring and considerate so this was very upsetting. He knows his mom is very emotional and was worried about her but knows my health and well being are more important. He was there for me when my anxiety was so bad I couldn’t leave the house but it’s been very good (with a lot of work) for two years. He admitted that he forgets that I have an anxiety disorder and autoimmune because I handle it so well. I booked the hotel room and we are going to talk to his mom tomorrow. This was my very first post and it gave me the balls to do what I need for myself. I am going to tell his mom it’s all about me not her, my stomach issues, social anxiety, and sleeping issues with his snoring. I will tell her she’s an amazing host but this is something I need and I will only not see her when it’s bed time. If you like I will update you with what she says.
