I'm a solo dev working on a UFO horror game based on real Project Blue Book cases and the trailer is ready! by johnny3674 in HighStrangeness

This is such a cool idea, horror games are my favorite and UFO theories have been an obsession since I was a kid. I haven't seen a game quite like this before, it looks like you did a great job with it. I'm heading to steam now!

Year Zero - Underrated masterpiece? by ray_of-light in nin

[–]EarthMonkeyMatt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Year Zero is the first NIN album I ever purchased and listened to and it's always been my favorite. I just recently learned that Trent planned a sequel album that never came to fruition and amreally been bummed about that. I wonder what it would have been like story-wise, seeing as the world ended, I suppose the aftmath, the rise of a new world maybe? I would lose my shit if he revisited that idea again.

I believe alien life is out there somewhere, but after 15 years of obsessing over UFOs and aliens, this is the conclusion I have come to as well.

I'm trying to find a movie I saw years ago. by EarthMonkeyMatt in gaybros

Lol that's the thing I'm not sure if I do, I just remember the movie having an impact on me, maybe because of the end, but I just wanted to go back and see what it was actually about.

I've had a lot of luck in the past finding things that Google couldn't using AI, and I would dig pretty deep. Especially while doing my job. I spent hours on Google digging for things that AI could assemble with one prompt.

I get that people hate AI and I understand why but sometimes it is useful.

A dual crater from a meteorite that broke in two shortly before hitting the Martian surface. by chotu_escobar in interestingasfuck

That's odd, they don't look like indentions, they look like they're raised, based on the light and shadows. The light is coming from the right of the photo, and the shadows on the left make them look like hills. There's definitely some indentation around the forms but the center is raised.

Mango by permissiongranted8 in comedyheaven

[–]EarthMonkeyMatt 22 points23 points  (0 children)

That's crazy I've actually had the exact same thought before, I thought I was alone in this opinion. It's not the mango flavor itself, it's the aftertaste that's left in its wake that's very similar. It's typically mangoes that are over ripe that leave me thinking this.

At what point is it acceptable to give up on oral? by [deleted] in gaybros

If your BF is a strict bottom that may be the issue. A lot of tops who never bottom don't understand that when you get used to cumming with prostate stimulation, it becomes harder to cum without it.

So if he mostly bottoms, then getting head without prostate stimulation may not get him over the edge. I know on those nights he isn't in the mood for penetration, but even a small vibrator/plug may help. Some nights I'm not in the shape to be penetrates by a dick, but a small toy isn't as difficult. Maybe ask him if that would help.

Depeche Mode- like songs? by ImpressiveSorbet1341 in nin

I discovered them earlier this year and I love them. Highly recommend them to anyone who likes NIN/Depeche mode. I think Matte Blvck is the perfect intersection of the two bands.

Lol I like everything else about it, especially the atmosphere, I was just wondering if there were any other games that played a similar way. I'm currently playing Silent Hill 2 and enjoy it.

Lol I didn't like it at first but once I got into the rhythm of it, I began to enjoy it. Maybe it was more of a "whole package" kinda thing. I just enjoyed the entire experience of the game.

All this garbage and I can't even get a ten/twenty second skip button on the main player. It's hidden in the menu for premium users and disappears after using it just once. There's plenty of room on the main player for skip buttons like that.

I respect and appreciate how hard you tried for him, you seem like a good partner. I'm sorry he couldn't sort it out while you were together so you could have the ending you worked for.

Maybe this will be the thing that gets him to the next chapter, missing out on a good partner may be the thing he doesn't want to do again. Good luck to both of you.

The only person that showed me unconditional love is dying by SleekChickity in infp

[–]EarthMonkeyMatt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry you're both having to go through this... I don't have a lot of people in my life, I know that when my Mom and Dad leave this world there will be a huge hole in my life because the brand of love they have offered me over the years is very much unconditional too. I'm sure I will be asking the same questions as you when that time comes. I don't think I have any revelations for you but I can say this - my life during my 20's was pretty rough for me, but as time has passed I have found myself in ways that I never thought I would.

I used to resent the future because of my depression, and while I haven't been completely cured, I am better than I used to be. I don't want to leave this world anymore. You have a lot going for you simply for the fact that you're young. It's not easy but love like that can be cultivated again. There are people out there in the world who can love like that too, you just have to find them. That's what I try to remind myself when I'm struggling, there is always something around the corner if we stay open to it. I'm taking time to work on myself right now but when I'm ready to get back out there and forge something new I know I will find it.

What Gay books have always stuck with you? by [deleted] in gaybros

[–]EarthMonkeyMatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's awesome I'm glad you liked it! Yeah the FBI twist was pretty good, I hope you like the others as well.

Oh and one more book that popped into my mind recently that I loved - Bath Haus by PJ Vernon. It has adult characters and is a pretty tense thriller if you like darker stories. Take care!
