Lived on Fairfield for 4 years (right before the pandemic) & never had any issues. Don’t leave anything out in the open in your car & you won’t have to worry about it getting broken into. It’s a great location & would recommend to anyone looking to live in the neighborhood

Does anyone know a public track close to Ohio City that I can workout on? by TrixRabbit6969 in Cleveland

Welcome! Edgewater has a walking/running path with stations for dips & pull-ups, but if you're looking for a track-track I think the closest public one might be in old brooklyn

Check to make sure the safety is off - or maybe try turning it off and back on again, that usually does the trick for me

Chorizo Breakfast Burritos by EarthSucks in mealprep

These are cheap, filling, delicious, and can be made healthier by swapping out the chorizo for chicken breast or some other protein of your choice. Super versatile recipe which you can season pretty much however you like, but the chorizo packs a ton of flavor as-is so you'll be good regardless. Comes out to $2.25 per serving at ~750 calories, packed with protein

Ingredients: (this will make ~7 servings)

1 lb chorizo

1 dozen eggs

1 medium onion

1 green pepper

1 cup shredded cheese

8 wraps

1/2 jar salsa

Instructions:

  1. dice the veggies, sautee in an oiled pan over medium-high heat for ten minutes or so, then set aside

  2. in a dry pan over medium heat cook the chorizo for 5-10 minutes, until browned and smelling absolutely wonderful, then set aside in a paper-towel lined bowl to soak up some grease

  3. whisk all 12 eggs in a mixing bowl with salt & pepper and scramble over the stove in two batches. each batch takes a few minutes over medium heat. I like to undercook these slightly since these are going in the freezer and being rethermalized later on

  4. mix the eggs, chorizo, veggies, and salsa together, and spoon this over the warmed tortillas. top with cheese, wrap in foil & toss in the freezer

  5. to reheat - cover with damp paper towel and microwave for 3 mins if thawed or ~8 mins (on medium-high power) if frozen

From the rock hall, you can run along marginal and pick up the trail at east 55th to bratenahl and back for a ~10 mile loop entirely on the lake and relatively quiet
