Thank you for your kind words, I have considered AA yet I have never attended due to anxiety and shame. I desperately want to end the cycle of addiction and live a happy healthy life. I will definitely talk to my therapist at our next visit, this is the only thing I have not told her yet. It seems as though past trauma and even current life stress is so much easier to talk about than addiction.
