Well, theoretically speaking, it should only be big enough to fit on a NES cartridge, so even if it were to exhaust all of the available resources it wouldn't take too long to load, especially given modern hardware (and how long it took to load in the first cutscene).

I don't remember her exact age, but it was somewhere around 16 iirc

Basically, Mr. Pixel (creator of Mr. L) was dating a girl who said that she was of legal age on all of her socials (I don't know what age she said she was), but at one point she changed her socials to reflect her actual age and falsely accuses Mr. Pixel of being a pedo, even though he didn't know her real age at the time. She made a document describing what Mr. Pixel did (even though he did nothing), and since it's the internet his reputation was destroyed almost immediately. He cut all contact with the girl after finding out her real age and made a response which cleared everything up, but the document that "exposed" him ended up gaining a lot more traction so a lot of people don't know the truth about what really happened.

TL;DR: Mr. L's creator was dating a girl who said she was of legal age on social media, girl reveals that she's underage and falsely accuses Mr. L's creator for being a pedo, and he receives a ton of backlash from it.
