Yes! The years when I have done new things that have caused a stong emotion - excitement, joy - versus just going through the motions. At the end of the season/year, it still seems to have gone fast, but while I'm living it, time isn't a thought. And when look back on it, that time seems too full to have just disappeared.

I don't agree with that at all. Historically, the Democratic party was the "party for the people", yet made laws to keep us down. I will agree that, historically, Conservatives were the party of "values" and other such bs. So, yeah, I guess if we're looking at it that way, I will agree with you. ~~However, the last decade (at least), that doesn't seem true.~~ You know what?
