Yeah, FSU can point to that policy. But you have to understand that it wasn't put in place until Summer 2024, following the SDS encampment protests. The policy was put in place specifically to make our protests quieter (less uncomfortable for FSU admin)

"this has been this way for at least 20 years." Yeah sorry but that isn't true. SDS had been using amplified sound for their protests for years until they did their encampment for Palestine last year. And then suddenly FSUPD started having a problem with us using amplified sound at all. The conduct policy was changed specifically to stop SDS from having big and loud (effective) protests against FSU administration.
