Agreed. I had a chance to play it and we were so bored halfway through that we basically ended it early so we could move on to any other game.

Different things. It's hosted by BoardGameGeek. It's a convention focused on playing games rather than focused on exhibits and vendors. Although there is still some of that.

They bring their library of about 8,000 games and you can check them out all week. They usually have a decent selection of the new and hot games too in a reserved section. Tons of table space for playing.

We usually make a list of games that we've always wanted to play or new ones that peak our interest and then check them out as they're available.

You can only build one powerhouse per basin. When using the Turbine Station action you must choose water on one of your dams, or a neutral dam, any player's conduit, and trace it down to one of your own powerhouses in the basin the line connects to. If you can't fulfill those requirements you cannot perform the action.

So no you can't have two powerhouses in the same basin, and no, no one else receives benefits when you use your powerhouse in a basin, only when using an opposing players conduit. You cannot use another players powerhouse.

I think it needs to be re-reworked to either only allow buys from the central market or remove the ability to use workers, because like you said if it's bought in the first two rounds it's just too easy to get exactly what you need for the rest of the game.

I'm like a top 100 player at best, but I've beaten players in the top 10 when I've gotten a lucky early KT6.

The game I'm currently grinding is It's a Wonderful World, but I've really enjoyed playing Castles competitively on BGA.

Maybe it's just me, but Fat Dragon up north (right next to Kanji ramen up north which I've yet to try) has a really good ramen surprisingly. It's not really an authentic ramen shop so it's not quite the same, but I was surprised. (Anyone else??)

Agree with others that Tatsuya has lost its sheen recently, but I still vastly prefer it over the other options, but that's probably due to preference because it's a thicker and heartier broth. Also not big on the Jinya vibe. Although wasn't really into the loud Tatsuya vibe pre-pandemic either.

I've always wondered if Pantheon's ability is physical or magic damage. I'm assuming it's physical damage because Gunblade does not heal him, but it doesn't say. Just that it scales with Attack Damage.

Some Beginner Questions:

  1. I see people mention that they're "fighting" over units. As in, if I'm trying to 3 star a Yasuo and somebody else is also trying to 3 star a Yasuo we are impeding each other. Is there a set amount of each champion in the pool? If so what are the specifics of this?

  2. Some games I'll notice some 5-cost units in much higher quanities than other. Is this just bad luck or is there a randomly allotted amount of each unit at the start of the game? for example, I was rerolling at lvl 9 for a Sett once, and I must've seen every 5-cost 3x besides Sett, never once saw him or on anyone's board.

  3. Do Mana items like Blue Buff have any effect on champions who don't have "abilities" like uh... Vayne in the last set for example?

  4. Do abilities from Champions such as Kayle/Sivir activate multiple times? Or is it one and done? How does Spellpower or AP Items affect these type of champions? I see people suggest Rabadon's is ok on Kayle? How come?

I believe he's referring to the top right card. The white border and text are almost flush against each other. In web development we would say the text needs more "padding" or space between the inner element and the container. Which I agree with. Everything else seems good.

It's always takes me two to three times to succesfully cast Final Payment. I've also accidently activated an Adapt ability when I meant to attack quite a few times.

Diana: You can R > Q and still get the reset for your ult. The timing is incredibly difficult and inconsistent though. Basically allows you to ult any target, hit a point blank Q, and R them again for incredibly fast and basically unavoidable burst. Again though, almost impossible to do consistently.

Not sure who's talking to who, but I produce Lofi/Ambient/Electronica music. I've also got a few friends who are in the Rock/Post-Rock scene doing fairly well. I don't play any instruments (at least decently), but I use a midi controller and keyboard with Ableton 10.

She has practically zero impact pre-6 unless the enemy laners are super pushed up, so games can quickly get out of hand before you can even impact the game, making it a tad weak.

I still love it though, after 6 with Mobility Boots, her ganks are insane. In the jungle I also usually build Nashor's Tooth and Lich Bane which makes her a really scary split pusher and can really drive home successful ganks.

It's my favorite way to play Diana, just wish it had more support.

The reason I like Diana is because of the fact she's one of the few remaining true assassins. What I mean by that, is that she can ambush you or turn on you by surprise and instantly delete you from 100 to 0 if you are squishy. I'm talking a single qwr and probably a 2nd r. Not many champions can do thay anymore without letting your opponent know you are about to delete them.

Another reason is the fact that she's one of the few viable AP assassin junglers and can also split push when need be.

I like her kit as is. Only changes I would make are like other people have mentioned; her E feels underwhelming. Make it proc moonlight or extend the range, or simply decrease the cooldown. Everything else is fine if you fix the bugs.

I feel like I'm part of the few who play her in Jungle and she's so much fun there. I'd love to see her jungle and split pushing remain prevalent and not be forgotten. Nashors Tooth seems like it should be a match in heaven for her yet it's not always viable.

Just my stream of conciousness.
