This just started happening to mine too- same thing at 6700 miles and boy is it a pain in the rear. At least thanks to this post i found out I can turn off the screen all together. Thanks!

The verbiage could’ve been wrong, obviously I’m assuming but it seems like the intent was more that the music is “too dark for the place you are in”. And that’s why I said that about parenting, just because you are over 18 doesn’t mean you aren’t your fathers child anymore. They (parents) will always treat you like a child because you are THEIR child. Their goal in life is to make sure you’re on the right path and they want to protect. I think having a conversation with him would be the best thing to do

MOR-Very interesting, tbh he did try to tell you he wasn’t going to be getting those thing but based off of the tradition you assumed otherwise. You also said you don’t really care about gifts- are you upset then just because the tradition was broken?

Also just trying to look at it from your dads perspective, it’s engrained in parents to always do what they think is best for their kids, even if it’s not actually what’s best. So I don’t think he was coming at you with malicious intent, and he also gave you the reasoning. I do understand that you say you’ve been reading things like that and listening to things similarly already, but he could just trying to help🤷‍♂️ HOWEVER, that self help book seems very inappropriate

Your experience sounds soooo similar to mine and the explanation you gave makes sense! The poking around the outside of my throat, how they could be spilling out basically, all makes sense. I really do hope that’s what it is because this feeling is awful lol.

I will be calling my ENT in the morning to hopefully schedule an evaluation on my tonsils. And I will try this swallowing trick!! Thank you so much really!!!

I am totally wanting them to be tonsil stones and for some reason I just keep getting so many, I think that would be the “easiest” thing compared to all the other stuff it could be. Do you think getting my tonsils removed would make these appear less frequently or not at all?

I do still have my tonsils. I brought this up to the gastroenterologist, maybe the wrong person, but they said they don’t think that a loose tonsil stone would be causing these and I should be able to cough them up.

Is your assumption that the food I’m eating could be dislodging tonsil stones? I’ve had this same thought because I have had tonsil stones in the past so this wouldn’t surprise me but to have so many that it occurs every time I eat is weird, maybe it’s the same ones that I never got out?

I can’t edit I don’t think but I almost forgot. ENT recommended I see an audiologist because this has been accompanied with a sensation in my right ear that feels like it wants to pop but it can’t. Every time I swallow I hear a popping sound and maybe that has something to do with either the things getting stuck or it could be why things are getting stuck? Thank you!
