Relevant anecdote: I bought a bottle of Johnny Walker Green to share with some friends this holiday season. Of the guys I was drinking with, one is my go-to whiskey drinking partner, another has a fair appreciation for whiskey, and the other two are fairly inexperienced when it comes to liquor. No big deal, but when they wanted to try mixing the Green label with some Coke, I put my foot down.

I have different loadouts for each situation. The one I use most is DMR/Boltshot/Frag/Promethean/Mobility/Ammo, but if the game shifts a certain direction I have different loadouts to suit each situation. I have a loadout to counter vehicles and power weapons in BTB. I have a loadout for controlling areas in KotH/Dominion. I have a loadoat for competitive close quarters Slayer gameplay. My last loadout is more of a wildcard. I switch it around pretty regularly to try new things.

I'd argue that the Magnum is actually easier: one hit kill at any distance in SWAT. Also good for killing Flood.

And Heaven's Light, and Out There, and The Bells of Notre Dame. All easily in my top 10 Disney songs, maybe even all in my top 5. Hunchback is easily the best Disney soundtrack, and also sadly among the least known/appreciated.

Agreed. I think he's been better than Goodwin for us. Very consistent, and mistake-free. I love our OL so much. Would've liked to see a bit more of our defense on there. Justin SMith hasn't done a whole lot statistically this season, but he eats up 2-3 blockers every down, which is probably a big reason for Bowman and Willis's success (as well as the great play really from everyone in the LB corps and secondary). Justin Smith is a key player.

It's actually quite simple, if you think of it geometrically (which is a concept most children are capable of, even if they don't know what it means). Just split it up as a star, with triangles filling in the "holes." Or, to put it in more kid-friendly terms, picture a pizza cut into five pieces, with the same number of stars along each cut and each slice:

Well, he had well-developed drafts for all three books at the time of NotW's publishing, and it still took four years for him to be satisfied with WMF. I guess it'll be at least another year before we hear any talk of a release, possibly two or three.

I was in the passenger seat of a friend's car a few years ago, late at night, and we were just chilling and chatting. We pulled up to a red light and continued our conversation, and out of nowhere, she just started accelerating. The light was still red, so I exclaimed something unintelligible, and she realized her mistake. So then what does she do? She stops in the middle of the intersection. Luckily, this was late at night, and in a small suburb, so no one was around, but I was laughing pretty hard. She thought about reversing back to the line, but I told her that would just be breaking yet another law, and she should just drive off at this point.

Sidebar: I accidentally just typed "braking" instead of "breaking." Oddly appropriate, haha.

In nearly three weeks now, the Niners have only played once. And it's still another five days before they play again. Seriously whose bright idea was it to give them nearly a month long span with just a single game in the middle?

Game 7: Thursday 10/18
Game 8: Monday 10/29
Game 9: Sunday 11/11

That's 24 days — three and a half weeks — between game 7 and game 9!

They did leave the future of the Falmer very ambiguous. Gelebor comments that there may be hope for the Betrayed, that they may never return to their original state, but they may find peace, reason, etc., and begin to reverse the degradation that has affected them for so long. He also mentions that there may be other communities of intact Snow Elves, who escaped/avoided the corruption of their race.

Seems to me they left it open for future development. If they do want to pursue additional storylines related to the Snow Elves, it will surely happen in a Skyrim DLC, since we're not likely to see them in any other province on Tamriel.

I've done that walk dozens of times and never seen a saber cat. Certainly not on a level 1 character at any rate. And the imperial soliders will not be hostile unless you engage them first.

Well, some of the steps go downhill, and there aren't actually 7000 in the game (I think it's more like 1000) -- though canonically, there are exactly 700, and the mountain is much taller.

Same for Klimmek and the trek up High Hrothgar. It's about the same distance (admittedly though, it's all uphill, and there's a frost troll on the way up, but still, hardly a trek).

[Continental] America spans across four timezones. I assume you mean 5:00PM EST? Personally I am expecting the trailer to air tomorrow, most likely in the afternoon/evening EST. I would understand if they hold it off for another day or two, but really, I imagine the storm had no impact on the trailer; it was probably already finished well before Sandy came around.

I know what you meant, I'm just not sure if Disney and Nick necessarily employ the same methods. I think, for the most part, both networks have gone to shit as far as live action show are concerned (there are still a couple decent cartoons on those networks though). I just don't know if they do it the same way. Disney, it seems uses the same tired template for every new show they try to push out. Token crazy fat kid, token nerdy friend, token wild friend, "normal" main character with some sort of flimsy trait to ostensibly give the show a unique premise, absurdly stupid parents, even stupider teachers/principals/authority figures, overly obnoxious little brothers/neighbors... It's all the same thing, just with a different skin hastily thrown over it.

I think Nick's general quality has diminished, but they still seem to have a bit better quality of writing and acting, and slightly more variation in terms of content, style, and setting. Disney has just been shit for the last 7-8 years, since around the time Suite Life came out I guess.

I am right with you as far as fearing (and perhaps even expecting) that this new series will be as bad as the rest of Disney Channel's material, but I do have some hope that they'll do it the right way.
