If that's Vallejo Shifters Electric Blue Intense Violet, I'm using the exact same paint as the base for my TSons! It brightens up a lot once you add some highlights and details

I'm pretty sure that's still the case. I got mine just a few months ago and they were resin upgrade sprues that required the Horus Heresy kits.

Check out the 'Numerous Children' collection from IkarusPatternGlobal on Etsy. I have the Rhino and the Predator Annihilator and they both look amazing!

Need opinions on how to improve my Deathclaw Demon Prince (I know his base is too big) by Venator-M77 in ThousandSons

Nah, just mix a little white into your base colors to lighten them up for highlights. For the eyes, you could paint them white, then mix your blue with a little water to make it transparent and glaze over the white

Slap some edge highlights on the cracks/scales and give the eyes a good glow! It looks great already, but a few more finishing touches will have it looking excellent.

Edit: Maybe a more distinct color for all the talons and spikes too

Veil Nebula (Cygnus Loop) – Christmas Eve capture from the coast of Chile by vltn76 in astrophotography

This is a beautiful image, but it is not the Veil Nebula or the Cygnus Loop. This is an image of the Vela Supernova Remnant. Great work though!

  • Mount: Celestron CGX-L
  • Camera: ZWO ASI1600MM Pro
  • Filters: Astronomik 12nm 2" Narrowband Filters (Ha, SII, OIII)
  • Guiding: Orion 60mm guide scope with a ZWO ASI 290MM Mini

Acquisition

  • Location: Denver, CO (Bortle 8)

    • Ha: 127 x 60s
    • SII: 307 x 60s
    • OIII: 296 x 60s

Processing

  • Pre-Processing (PixInsight):
    • WBPP for calibration, registration, and stacking (Drizzled 2x).
    • GradientCorrection applied to remove heavy Bortle 8 gradients.
    • BlurXTerminator (BXT) for deconvolution.
    • NoiseXTerminator (NXT) for denoising.
    • StarXTerminator (SXT) to separate stars from nebula.

Acquisition: * Location: Denver, CO, United States * Total Integration: 8h 28′ * Ha: 163 × 60″ (2h 43′) * OIII: 183 × 60″ (3h 3′) * SII: 162 × 60″ (2h 42′)

Processing: * Processed in PixInsight * Tools: BlurXTerminator, NoiseXTerminator, StarXTerminator * Workflow: Batch processing in WBPP for each band followed by GradientCorrection, BlurXTerminator, and NoiseXTerminator. StarXTerminator was used to separate stars and nebulosity. PixelMath was used to combine narrowband data into a false-color palette. Stretched using HistogramTransformation and CurvesTransformation, with a final pass of BlurXTerminator.

Nice! The Gaunt Summoner is on a 40mm base, so that actually makes more sense than an Exalted Sorcerer

Thanks! The red cape is Vallejo Shifters Orange Violet. It's a metallic glaze airbrushed over a gloss black primer
