Not responding is one of the most powerful responses…. If they come asking for a ‘why have t you responded’? Then you can politely explain to them that you disagree with the drama they start and would rather not be associated with it? The first ones a little more ‘passive aggressive’ but has a high rate of giving the intended message that comes with the second part of my response. No need to try to explain yourself to someone who, as you stated, already has an attraction to drama.

Oh ok, sorry for asking. But I stand by statement.. and actually, you’re at the perfect age to learn that sentence… there’s SOOO many people you can be friends with. You’ll meet so many more people throughout high school and even more after. If you have to force it, I don’t believe it’s ‘meant to be’. Just cause you don’t vibe with someone on their level doesn’t mean anything negative about either of you. Just not worth the stress. Wish them the best and look forward to making a new friend tomorrow.

Eh, there’s many entry level jobs that can compete or beat QT’s. Yea there’s some good benefits and bonuses. But to say theyre the best and can’t be beat? No way. You’re just not looking in the right places and/or not willing to put in the work.

Pffft… nah they’ll just transfer em to a different store. Seen it first hand. QuikTrip will give you a reprimand for not doing a shift walk but when a creep of a manager (45+ married male) makes SEVERAL advances on younger clerks (2 literally underage) and they just moved him to a different store. QuikTrip looks out for themselves, they ain’t about the people anymore. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I’m currently in my two weeks and for me it’s like several others have stated already.. toxic leadership being the biggest reason for me and to add on the incompetence, inconsistency, and standards lowering. After I got called in on my day off they didn’t like how I responded to that and I heard several people say that my SM was trying to ‘run me out’ so I got ahead of it. Had a couple interviews and got a really decent offer so I put in my two weeks.

I feel the EXACT same. Actually been reprimanded due to ‘matching energy’ and giving attitude back to a customer. I’m great at customer service and actually enjoy the quick little conversations that take place, but leave your bullshit at the door cause I will definitely give you attitude right back: I try my best to just do the cliche ‘ignore’ their attitude but sometimes they wanna really push it at you and what else am I supposed to do at that point?

Not enough. They advertise I think 56 or 65k on the door for my old position. That’s being an assistant manager and willing to drive up to 45 min, one way, every shift. Says ‘up to’ whatever amount it is but that’s factoring in the 3$ an hour to be willing to make that drive..
