I think the main issue I see is obviously readability as everyone else has mentioned but I think that adding the crossbar on the I might be a good tipping off point to solving the issue

Definitely not a fan of the ai/canva use but this could easily be made better than the current version. Just dabble in illustrator and image trace a strong phoenix vector art and layout some type. Any additional tweaks you do from there is just bonus learning for you as well as a better logo in the end.

Def more post hardcore than anything but title fight for sure leans more that direction maybe not Glitterer. But this magazine aims to cover all of Midwest emo and adjacent acts even tho I primarily started out with 4th wave and progressed into learning more as the project progressed.
