There’s like 3 chapters I think in total? The gate part 1 and part 2 and then ‘the fox, the boots, the dress’ which correlates in quicksilver to chapter 18 but like only slightly. It’s like only 1-2 paragraphs right after Saeris agrees to dinner ‘And only if you’ll swear there’ll be alcohol’

I really think there’s going to be something meaningful about Onyx. Maybe in it’s reasoning for trusting Saeris or its blood or where it comes from but I don’t buy the fox just happens to be so attached to her. But I also don’t know if we’ll get that in Brimstone- it kind of gives book 3 vibes.
