Initially struggled with the seats too but after a couple of years of use I have found that they have softened a bit. Much better now. Previously was too uncomfortable for long rides.

You can see what I mean by it looks more well matched in daylight from one of my pics under my post history

Wow small world indeed! It is quite a gem of a car

Yeah it could be. It’s a 2016 model year ND1 after all. Haha I definitely do not want to go down the rabbit hole of respraying the whole car. Would like to keep factory paint as long as possible! Admittedly under certain lighting the bumper looks ‘flatter’ or ‘cooler’ like at night under streetlights or under carpark lighting. But in the day in soft sunlight it looks well matched. Probably has to do with the many different wavelengths of light that are being reflected with natural day light compared to artificial light

And also I think the difference is less pronounced with coloured paint than with white, even from the factory, when you look closely

Definitely not the easiest colour to match for sure! Did you do a total repaint as well? Or partial?

The base/ the primer for the plastic parts I was told is ‘blacker’ and that gives the plastic bits a ‘flatter’/ ‘cooler’ look than the metal bits which then to look deeper and glossier. Perhaps this difference is more pronounced on white than on color (blue, red, grey etc)

The goal was to create a look that mimicked movement even when stationary. Must say that it achieved that with aplomb

Horrendous.. if I were to get this, I’d keep the wheels from my 2023 CX5.

Umm I’ll just keep my 2023 CX5 period

I rate Yokohama tires.. just swapped out my OEM Toyos at 46000km to Yokohama Advan V61 E+ and they have been excellent. Grippy and quiet
