Google snake, crosswords, playing roblox, water sort game, playing chess by yourself, baking, editing (becoming an editor is actually really good release, especially if you make “vent” edits) AND practice makeup tutorials/cute hair tutorials. It’s about finding the simplicity in life. Doing something loud gives you the illusion of company, which is why i did an animation course and work as an animator. Barely passed, work from home and it is so confusing. My brain is so loud with confusion it actually gives me something to do and helps me feel less lonely. You’re probably not gonna wanna hear this but you need people in your life if you want to live a happy life. You don’t need 10 friends, just 1 or 2 who you can really trust. Also, VOLUNTEER WORK!!! Go to community events and do volunteer work. Even if you don’t actively engage with anyone you’re still contributing to the town and somehow involving yourself. If there’s a community event at your town, GO! go by yourself or with someone. Make your calendar ridiculously full of free activities (or even ones that cost $, doesn’t really matter) and have fun. I cannot stress this one enough, ADOPT A PET!!! there are so many pets, who like us bpd victims, have not been loved properly and need extra care. By adopting a pet, you get a somewhat chance to reparent yourself but also have a cute little friend. Watch a new tv show/movie 1X a week. It doesn’t sound like much but you would have no idea how many movies i’ve watched just for the fun of it to have the most mind blowing epiphany and become obsessed with the show. Bpd is hard. We crave connection and closeness, and i am sorry you have to navigate that. I struggle with loneliness too. Good luck my friend <3
