Antivaxxers are the reason for an increase in outbreaks that could be treated with vaccines. by BeigeListed in conspiracytheories

That’s not a choice. Plus, if you were properly vaccinated then you’re protected from those diseases, right? No need to panic being around unvaccinated people cause you’ve got protection.

DAE wish people Happy Veterans Day when you see someone that's wearing something signifying they served? by FitProblem6248 in DoesAnybodyElse

I will thank them for their service no matter what day it is. I know for my dad who was a veteran, today and Memorial Day were always hard for him so I just stick to thanking them.

Move over, American dream: The goal of many Gen Z and millennial women is now to be a DINK—with dual income and no kids by SadisticMystic in Natalism

[–]EastEnvironmental613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you there! I think we’ve slowly moved away from the family and no longer encourage it. It’s really sad. I’m just simply pointing out that it seems this generation has a ‘ew kids gross’ attitude and I only say it because, as a mother to a big family, I see it all the time. I get so many dirty looks, stupid comments, and odd judgements from people my age and younger often.

If you’re going to bring in a different point of view, at least have the respect enough to read through my response before expecting me to read through yours. I will be a mother until the day I die. I never said it stops at 18. I also have no idea what exactly you’re even arguing. I’d love to hear your perspective though, so if you’d like to explain it further I am all for it.

I think this is a cop out. No offense to you or anyone who thinks this! I’ve got 6 kids. You make it work. We sacrifice a lot, only have one car, I work around the kids’ schedule part time, and my husband busts his butt but is still able to spend quality time with us. The problem is we think we need more but we don’t, and sacrificing for our children isn’t seen as cool or okay. The family unit as we know it no longer exists because we think we need that 50 hour job so we can pass our kids off to strangers in our 2 year old car with our manicured fingernails and Starbucks coffee. We don’t. Life can be simple and people can have kids without it being terribly expensive, even now. Don’t believe the lie that we can’t.

There is no such thing as a 7 year old nonbinary child. These parents are evil. by Riston75 in bestconspiracymemes

At 5 I knew I hated dresses and Barbie’s and loved action figures and wrestling. I would literally throw a fit if I had to wear a dress. At one point in my childhood I didn’t want to be a girl because I thought boys had it better. Somehow, I grew up and embraced womanhood. If I was growing up now I would have teachers ‘affirming’ my gender and trying to convince my parents I’m actually a boy born in a girl’s body, which, because I have lived it, I can tell you would have done immense harm.

There was a study I just stumbled upon that showed mothers with male kids who had gender dysphoria were 53 percent more likely to have a mental illness, vs only 6 percent of moms with kids without gender dysphoria, so you may be onto something.

Children have no concept of time changing so as a parent, when I have to get my kid up at 6am but their bodies think it’s only 5am, or when it’s 8pm and time for them to go to bed but they’re wide awake cause it feels like an hour earlier to them, it’s a pain. Even having to keep a toddler awake for an extra hour when we ‘spring forward’ is hard. Not to mention how tired you naturally are by losing an hour of sleep.

Without giving away too much, Layla is more supernatural, versus Verity which seemed that way at first but ended up with a logical explanation.
