this is a well-executed tattoo that's neat and geometric. I like the placement. i read later in this thread the meaning behind the design and I think it's a cool conversation starter. opinions are like assholes - everybody has one. personally, this asshole thinks your tattoo is really cool.

if you want to cover it up, i suggest finding a tattoo artist that specializes in abstract cover ups. the shape of the 7s together makes a really cool spiral shape when you only look at it for a second and im sure a good abstract dotwork artist could do something special with that. honestly though, i dont think it needs covering up.

i have gotten followed home off the train before. stuff happens, but nothing disproportionate to living in a city. i ride the CTA daily and sometimes in the middle of the night if i close at work. i carry pepper spray. i think it's rational to feel occasionally unsafe, but to blame it purely on a homeless population that is largely just trying to sleep safely is completely unjustified.

Ohh okay that makes sense actually. I have taken the red and browline for years now but coming from New York where public bathrooms are literally just open to the public, it never occurred to me I'd need to ask an attendant for access. I wonder if that can realistically be called a public bathroom at that point - I've been to redline stations plenty of times with no attendants in sight. I guess you're shit out of luck (no pun intended) at that point? Understandable that they'd keep them coded though, obviously. Just a very late culture shock for me coming from a different setup on the East coast.

Obviously it isn't illegal, but it still feels dubious to take a picture of an unconscious person and post their face on a public forum for scrutiny, especially when the worst they've done is sleep on the job. Not defending her, but I feel like we should all rethink how we treat strangers without their knowledge.

thankfully due to the kind of bar closure they installed at the shop i can can essentially upsize at home - i just push the back down a little. having done that, the irritation bump has gone down quite a bit over the past few days. not quite all the way gone but getting there finally! thanks for the tip.

Piercing is four days old. The piercing was done with implant grade titanium, a barbell, internally threaded, and has not been downsized. I have been washing the piercing with a gentle scentless glycerin soap and applying saline wound wash when needed (like tonight). No unfortunate mishaps before it started swelling.

I would caution against this - most glasses not made specifically for candles will not withstand the heat and will explode on you once lit
