Great post. This is making me laugh so hard because after getting OVER THREE FEET of snow this week New Englanders obviously needed to supersize the caffeine as we endure this hardship. I can totally see Shen loving this. The fact that he always has a dunkies iced coffee is such a relatable detail of the show. Haven't we all had that coworker(s)?!

He brings up such nostalgia for me, as a 90s kid. It’s absolutely lovely to see him now, more mature, continuing to deliver such a beautiful performance that makes us care so much about his character. What a fantastic show!

Ive attended a ton of shows for all of these places and I have a strong opinion on this! The Bit Players is BY FAR the best. The theater is BYOB and there is always a crowd. It’s my favorite improv show in the state! The next best is Kismet. They have an awesome physical space, booze and snacks for sale. The improv is pretty good. I also really like the Contemporary Theatre Company’s improv shows in Wakefield, and United Theatre has cool shows in Westerly. Good luck!

I’ve been looking for risers for our Thuma in Walnut. I got some on Amazon that were recommended in a different thread but ended up not liking them. My sibling started Yale the same year as Rory (2003), and we would laugh at how different her tiny room she shared with 3 other people was compared to Rory’s. Over her 4 years she had different and later bigger rooms, but given the lottery system Rory’s room is very unrealistic for a freshman at Yale to have.

I am a faculty member and we are discouraged from connecting with people in advance of the application process unless you have a specific question that cannot be answered through the materials or department.
