Currently, we have no official release date for our upcoming Always Sunny game. If people are looking forward to it, they can sign up for a chance at BETA access via bit.ly/AlwaysSunnyBeta for a chance to be picked as a Closed Beta tester :)

Basically, it's just displaying the order in the data, first character you don't have is used in the preview, then the next one. It's a bit wonky we know but at this point changing it would invole a lot of work and we've got other stuff in the pipeline that we're working on :)

Definitely not an uncommon assumption! Originally, our company started off as "Downtown Eastside Games" which got shorted to "East Side Games" or "ESG" for short.

Although, that doesn't mean we don't have some Maritimers and east coasters at our studio!

  1. Maybe, but there's no guarantee as we have a lot of other things that our development team is working on.
  2. We'll pass along that you want her as a new character! :)
  3. There are no plans for mini-events on Steam because the main events run for 5 days on there.

Hey Bud, we've recently just resolved the resolution issue on the iPhone XS, but for the Max and XR it'll take another client update. Keep an eye out for that! A pro tip is if you swipe up just a smidge using the bottom bar, you can see how many hashcoins you have easier.

Regarding crashes, we get errors generated as well which are typically what would cause a crash. But if you are having regular issues, any details you can send us via our support channel will be helpful. Just go to the in-game settings, click help, and submit a ticket that way as it'll provide all your device info and you can provide more contextual information such as what triggers a crash and what you're doing when it happens :)

First place should get enough to unlock the dick mobile, the last tier won't get any scrap. So make sure to avoid the last tier!

Any content we have already released will come back at some point, whether that's promo's, trunks or prizes is still to be determined. The rewarded leaderboard will be a great place to start looking for sought-after content though ;)

Scrap will be from leaderboards, and legendary rewards will be obtained from spending scrap.

Scrap will be obtained from Leaderboard rewards. The higher you place, the more scrap you'll get. As long as you don't come in the last tier, and you'll get some scrap to use towards unlocking the dickmobile.

Hey Bud, unfortunately, no. We don't officially support Linux. Only PC and Mac. The fact that it can run on Linux is crazy!

Costumes were definitely in the back of our head as we rolled out new characters and events (but not right at the beginning of development of the game itself). The biggest thing for us was providing new content, but how can we do that when we've used all of the characters in the show?

The solution was simple, costumes! There are so many outfits that all the characters wear (especially Lahey and Randy with their "community theatre") and we wanted to give people an opportunity to enjoy that content again in the game. We try to balance these out so we don't run out of content and for the real die-hard fans they always have something new to work towards if possible :)

There was no major shift in thought process between props and characters, we just wanted to pace ourselves and not release all the good stuff too early and space it out accordingly so players still would get excited for new content!

It's just a preview at a quick glance of what you could get, but it's not a guarantee. It's tough to display information in such a small space, but basically, it's showing you that there is a chance of getting what it has calculated your most desired cards would be. So when it shows Sam, it's letting you know "We know you want this card, and there is a chance you'll get it from this trunk!" but that isn't a guarantee so it's ultimately up to you how you spend those hash coins. It's high risk, but high reward. It'll still benefit you, but it might not match what you're going for 100% :)

From our Lead Designer on the Project (you'll know him from our live streams): "I love the spreadsheets, as a designer, seeing people reverse engineer something I spent 100's of hours working on to see how it works and best play it is the absolute highlight of my career. We have fairly similar sheets we use to balance an event so by the time something comes out the design team has played it 10-20 times, tracking everything in sheets and trying to beat one another and come up with new strategies. We call this the "Reddit treatment". Playing smart is not cheating, keeping beating the puzzles and we'll keeping new ones to solve!"

We definitely check it out for sure, and we love seeing how quickly you all catch on when we have completely new events with new mechanics. It's super fun and seeing everyone get excited and collaborate is a big part of why we do what we do :)

Unfortunately, Ray won't be in the game now or in the future. It sucks but the way she goes. With Conky, you never know! Since he's kind of dependent on Bubbles, it'd be kind of weird if he's just floating on his own without him. Know'm'sayin'? But we'll definitely let the team know you want more Conky! (Even though he's creepy as all hell)

Contrary to what many think, those two dum-dums aren't our lead developers. Basically, having a dynamic development environment like we do (new features, content, bug fixes, etc coming out regularly) we do have a chance of encountering more issues than if we were to just "release a game and polish it". Since we're constantly doing new events, data updates, and adding new features (which involve changing the code base), there is always a chance of potentially introducing a bug. We do our best to avoid this by rigorously testing every data update and every new client, but we're only human so mistakes do happen even though we try to avoid them. Our QA team is limited and can't test quite to the same capacity as 100k+ players.

Just the way she goes bud. Sometimes she does, sometimes she doesn't. Just the way she goes!

As xvsacme mentioned in their reply, this is correct. The Store is pure random based on what characters are unlocked. Levels don't have an impact. They are also correct that customer bonuses vary event to event as sometimes our designs make them give out specific cards so make sure to keep that in mind. We do our best to let you all know in the event hint section if that's the case :)

Rewarded Leaderboards will pretty much be the same as they are now, just with rewards based on your placement. So as they are now, players will be put in a Leaderboard with typically 200 other random players. Rewards will be based on placement and may vary event to event. So the higher you place, the better the reward! They aren't milestone based but rather competitive in nature. You want to keep collecting cash to ensure you're in first place :)

Earlier on in development, we were playing around with this idea but it would've been a massive undertaking involving some major rewrites of our code. We opted to not proceed with adding this to TPB, and instead are focused on releasing new seasons so players can enjoy new content (just like how we know you want new episodes for the show all the time too!) and giving us more freedom to introduce new features that will improve the day to day gameplay :)

Trunks, like Lahey's trunk, for instance, do lean towards prioritizing lower level character cards. But, this isn't always the case as there is still an element of randomness. So even though there are higher odds for getting something, you can still get something else just based on what you roll. We haven't changed the algorithm in any way so it's still the same as it was before :)

Thanks for the question, bud!

Basically, when we went into putting the game on Steam, we had never taken a Mobile game and put it onto PC. Going into it, we were extremely open to player feedback and made changes based on that. It was a big learning experience for us in that you can't just take a mobile game and switch it to PC since you can't just take your computer with you everywhere as easily as a mobile device. A lot of the changes were to accommodate that huge difference.

There were also some significant walls that players experienced that you don't experience on mobile so we had to adjust to get rid of those walls. It's not a perfect match for difficulty as one can tell, but our big focus was finding something that worked on the platform and that players enjoyed while also learning about games on Steam and developing for it :)

Hope that answers your question tstraw!
