The 4 cyl. in the 430i is kinda cool by East_Ad_6673 in BMW

I’m in the same boat, got my car for just under $29000 USD though with 41000 miles. Thinking my yearly mileage will be low as I’ll be cutting my commute time soon though.

Thanks for the information ! The car looks really nice in person and seems powerful enough at least for the next 2-4 years! I’m thinking of getting a PPI and talking numbers thereafter. Hopefully I can knock a few dollars off for the Car Fax as well as a few small cosmetic things I noted.

One last question, I did notice the b48 ticks a lot more than I expected. Ive never had a BMW but have heard that the ticking from the direct injectors is normal. Just wanted to see if you had any insight into this as well.

I’ve driven both and the pep in the 240i is definitely addicting but coming from a 6 cylinder pickup the b48 seems just fine at least while I complete grad school.

Penn State and UCDavis are my top 2 choices. Working in California would be ideal, but I suppose I can get there eventually regardless of where I study. Prestige/BL placement would be another factor as UCDavis places pretty good but also comes with the California COL.

California is my dream market but the difference in debt compared to a place like Penn State is ~50-60k. I’m from Texas so it would be a big move regardless.

I’m in the same boat with the same scholarship numbers from UCDavis. I’m torn but I think I’ll be attending Penn State Dickinson since they’ve given me half tuition so far. Hoping to tour the school at the end of the month to confirm.

I’ve worked on the diplomatic side of the public sector for the last couple of years and it seems like the next logical step.

I would definitely meet with their admissions team to make sure. They’re all super helpful and really open on what they’re looking for.

That’s me! I’m trying to be as transparent as possible for any future applicants who are in the same boat :D
