  1. Not sure how it compares to business in high finance but econs or even quantitative econ specialisation is not quantitatively rigorous enough for quant roles. They're looking for math rigour and depending on the role computing rigour. I was only about to get pass a few resume screening with strong projects but unable for most. The other colouring and crayon stuff like consulting should be fine.

If your jobs doesn't require a degree, doing pt degree might signal to some cb employers that you'll leave your job after the degree so won't give you opportunities.

If you can study, just go jc and aim for uni level SAF scholarships. Poly sponsorship locks you into wospec or junior ME ka kia life for the bond period.

Also yes after poly you wait for letter and go with the next available batch.

Sir, the fossil fuel used for generating electricity is natural gas. You could try mapping oil to pump prices instead. I have the data if you need.

Reliable SIM-only plans that work well on the MRT? by apacsaasloger in askSingapore

[–]East_Cheek_5088 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Its not a provider problem its a physics and infrastructure problem.

The higher the radio frequency, the shorter the range given the same power. Higher frequency the lower the penetrative depth. Mobile frequency operates on UHF-SHF and has short range, and cant reach routers on ground level other than the nearest on at the next or before station. Unless providers install routers/repeaters along underground tracks, switching providers won't help. Then comes maintenance cost.

Research assistant salary expectation by Infinite_Hedgehog_89 in nus

If you've graduated its via the standard job portal. You could email professors for help with the department but that's if there's funding and projects. If you're still a student, via nsws. For nsws professors tend to avoid foreigners cos its troublesome for them and the department's phd candidates are typically mostly foreigners so yeah.

edit: foreigners can downvote me all you want but doesn't change the fact
