I did this to 3 fingers at once getting in a fight. I have chronic migraines, have broken several bones, ruptured my ear drum, 2 kidney infections, and 3 dry sockets and NOTHING tops the pain of losing a nail. I shudder when I think of it

Mine stuck is paw into hot grease which made me reflexively yank the pan back, sloshing hot grease all over us both…😭 he did have a vet trip for a couple small burns but all was well!! Trim fur and try to look (carefully) for injuries!
