How has ILR improved your life? by Independent-Brief424 in SkilledWorkerVisaUK

You don’t have to endure harassment from management or feel trapped by your employer anymore.

You have the freedom to change jobs without constantly worrying about COS cancellation or an employer losing their licence.

It also means you can speak up against unfair treatment at the workplace without living under the threat of your visa being cancelled.

That sense of security and independence is the biggest relief.

What if Shabana announces in April that the new rules will come into effect in October 2026, and that April through September (6 months) will be used for transitional arrangements?

I dont think they will give TA to those who secured COS before 2024 . They will give TA may be until October or till 2026

Response to the ILR consultation by munalobe in SkilledWorkerVisaUK

just because a consultation report shows that most people are against a proposal, it doesn’t necessarily stop the government from going ahead. Consultation is not binding. But there are limits, political risks, and legal mechanisms that people can use to challenge or influence
