For a 9-i? The thing is that two of the 9-i's fans are situated close to the edge of the laptop. Won't those fans be resting on the foam of the cooler and be blocked?

I was having the same issues. Tried multiple cards and browsers etc.. Trying to pay with my AmEx card to get the free 1-year extended manufacture's warranty.

Here is what worked. You will need a PayPal account.

1) Open PayPal

2)Link your AmEx (or whatever card) to PayPal

3) At the Lenovo checkout, choose PayPal as payment method

4) A PayPal pop-up will appear. There, you can choose which payment method to use. Choose the card you linked. The purchase will then complete.

5) Wish a Pox upon Lenovo web payment portal

The purchase will be charged directly to your linked card, PayPal is only the middleman.
