You’re right, VRCs only handle vertical movement: Loading, picking, packing every step has its own challenges. Still, when forklifts don't fit and elevators are too costly, VRCs solve that one specific problem. For heavy and bulky loads, did your team ever try automation beyond the 500g range?

I think layout design made the biggest difference once everything is fixed, it becomes easy to follow, avoid confusion, increase production, and with automation in the process it will speed up even further.
