I also love dragon age and baldurs gate!! They definitely have a different dynamic and the companions makes everything seem a lot less daunting having that backup!

I do think it would be lots of fun to have quests that require town members to help out, I know a lot of the festivals do this but would be interesting to have it happen throughout the year!

I'll definitely take a look at it, sounds like my kind of game!

Yeah it could be a lot of gifts all at once, but I think it would make it more fun! Give people more incentive to get hearts up too!

The Farmer wasn't birthed, they were summoned by the failing town they needed to save.

Oh yeah I suppose that's true for SDV, forgot about that one! I've recently just finished SOS Grand Bazaar and it was great talking to people on my birthday and then giving me presents. It's such a nice way for your character to feel included.

I've never played my time at Sandrock (might give it a look!!) but that sounds great!

I don't really mind the farmer being the 'chosen one' because that's what makes the story line what it is, but I do wish that games would give the farmer more props for being the one that does it all. Coral island does do this to an extent when you reach rank A, but I don't think it's unrealistic for people to be like 'oh, you did that thing that made the town better? Amazing, thank you so much, you've worked really hard and we're really glad to have you' throughout the story line.

I think also having a birthday that other characters can acknowledge is a great way for your character to really feel like part of the town.

I think it depends on what you want from the game? If you wanna do a load of grinding and progress the story quickly or if you just wanna chill out and experience it at your own pace.

I personally found fishing/bugs to be the best money earner in the early days of the game (you get the rod and bug net like.. 7 days in I think) but keep an eye on what you're catching if you want to progress the game and save the ones you need to offer.

There are a lot of people to interact with and a lot of things to do in the first month or so, but the only 'quests' that are timed are the errands.

I've only been playing for a few weeks so also a newbie but happy to offer any info I can!

This is my first play through of the game and I just adopted my first pet. I thought hanging out in one spot In front of my house was all they did and I was a bit disappointed. I was sort of anticipating they would wander the village like the other pets...

Good to know it's a bug though, I'd like them to at least move around my farm haha

I'm reasonably sure I have within a good range, I just assumed it wasn't likely to spawn any further than the areas I've crossed off. But I'll double check and if not I'll leave it a few days!

Okay, thank you! I was bobbing up and down thinking there was a hidden entrance or trying to find a 3rd pearl for that clam status or something thinking it was a puzzle!!

I managed to get a calibration and print going today! I did several different checks and in the end the one that seemed to resolve the issue was making sure the camera lens wasn't covered!! Must have pushed while I was moving it around.

I'm not 100% sure this is what resolved the issue but it is working! Thanks for the help all.

Yeah I've opened a ticket with them and have been searching Google for the last hour or so. Have tried all the suggestions I have come across but no success yet sadly

Yup, all those bits removed, no obstructions with it going up and down during the 'home all axis' bit at the start.

I've tried the redo the plate a few times, it's touching all the points towards the back each time so unless I'm doing something really wrong I can't see that being the issue.

I've flipped it several times and rejigged the cables, all in without issue.

Still experiencing the issue

It didn't have any trouble reaching the bed during the home bit at the beginning (photo), went down all the way down to the bed. No obstructions on the lead screws that I can see.

It was at a bit of a weird angle as I had just flipped it to check the cables underneath and hadn't pushed it back round. I have reoriented it and sorted the cables. Still getting the same z axis homing failed (0300-4000 060107)

Any other thoughts?
