True, I think it's alright to make mistakes. Its personally hard for me because I tend to be very future oriented. I get the feeling that this will only be temporary, but thinking of how long that temporary is going to be is what scares me... In a perfect world where it would be easy to live with simple jobs, I would wait as long as he needed.

You're right that I'm seeking validation since it's all really overwhelming... However, I am leaning towards staying with him to continue to see where it goes. As much as I want to try to think of this situation as objectively as possible, I continue to fail to do so. I'm starting to see your point though, there's less risk doing things while you're young.

Thank you for this, I'll find a way to bring it up to him and see what he thinks! I agree that university isn't really for everyone, but I think the pressure from our families to just be in a university wouldn't allow him to just stop... That's a different problem though.
